Generating your Creator Code & Getting Started:

  • As soon as you join a Support-A-Creator program through Wehype, your creator code will be generated from your creator display name. You are able to promote and use it directly.

  • Take time to explore the Wehype platform and understand how your Dashboard functions and the various features available.

  • Go through the steps players take to use your code in-store so you can understand the process fully.

Sharing Your Creator Code

  • Start by announcing to your community on all your social media channels that they now can support you with your new code.

  • Display your creator code on all of your social media channels and pin it in visible areas.

  • Be sure to include a link to the store wherever possible to make it more convenient for your audience to access.

  • Consistently remind your followers that using your code helps you, whether through verbal mentions, posts, or during live streams.

  • The best times to promote your code are typically during sales, special events, or when new game updates and patches are released.

  • Make sure to disclose how using the code supports you. Read more about it here.

Streaming Best Practices

  • Ensure your code is highly visible by showcasing it in a banner on your Twitch profile and using an overlay graphic that displays the code during your streams. Be sure to include a link to the store wherever possible to make it more convenient for your audience to access.

If you need help making a banner or overlay graphic, reach out to any of our staff in our Discord server and we’ll get you sorted.

  • Add a chatbot command like "!code" to share your code automatically.

  • Set up your chatbot to periodically post the code in chat, such as every 15-30 minutes.

  • Regularly mention on stream that using your code helps support you.

YouTube Best Practices

  • Ensure your code stands out by including it in your channel banner and adding visuals with the code in your YouTube videos.

  • Consistently mention in your videos how using your code supports you.

  • Position your creator code and a link to the store at the top of your video description for easy access.

  • Make sure to pin your creator code as the first comment on the video and a link to the store if possible.

Short-Form Best Practices

  • Start by verbally mentioning your code or displaying it on screen during the first 0-5 seconds. This is essential and should be repeated often. Let your viewers know that using the code is a great way to show support.

  • Add a message like "Support me by using code: [YOUR CODE HERE]" in the description or pinned comment. It might seem repetitive, but it’s a crucial reminder that helps.

  • Encourage your audience to comment if they've ever used your code. People enjoy sharing their support, and this can help boost engagement with your content.

  • If you use Linktree or a similar service, be sure to add your code and a link to the store for easy access.
